Goal
Spend 12-13 months following a modified version of the 70 degree weather route–a continuous chase after optimum riding conditions, involving 48 states and excessive finger-crossing.
Start
Our adventure begins in Wisconsin, mid-November, when life is gloved, booted, and smells of Pumpkin-Spice-Lattes and Death.
We tried riding in the winter last year, but carving through frozen air on a motorcycle pounded nails through our fingertips and fine-grated our facial features. And we had handle-bar-warmers!
We’re heading south, to Arizona
Here’s a rough representation of our plan. Notice that in Arizona, it looks as though we will be visiting only 2 or 3 locations. In reality, we plan to ride every inch of this beautiful state, like a printer, running ink across the surface one line at a time. The amount of resources we invest will depend on our interests. Tali is a huge Geology-fan, so Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Colorado are a big deal.
We will be recording specific locations and experiences, one ride at a time.
